My life has been in disarray this week due to the installation of new floors in the bedroom section of our house. Mrs. P and I have been sleeping on the family room couches because all our beds are disassembled and stashed in the living room or the main bathroom (Really!).
All that is a long way of saying that I haven’t had the opportunity to post much this week. The IT guys at work frown on my doing it there, and my home computer has spent most of the week broken-down and sitting on the fireplace hearth in the family room.
I have enjoyed watching the whole University of Tennessee – Lane Kiffin fiasco. What a piece of work! Charles Barkley was quoted with a great explanation for Lane’s inexplicable rise to head one of the nation’s premier college football programs.
“Lane Kiffin has got to have pictures of somebody having sex with a monkey.”

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise! 
I tried to find something Lane Kiffin has done…and I can’t find it. He inherited a incredible position and system at USC on his first trip…and has gotten a free pass since then. What a lucky dude…or the monkey-picture thing carries some weight.
Hope you’re sleeping in your bed again soon. I can imagine you’re both feeling a little stiff after a few nights on couches!
